It is often a good choice to go with what we call a crate engine, where we can obtain a rebuilt engine from one of our many suppliers who offer nationwide warranties. Sunshine Service Brake & Alignment offers a full two-year in house warranty on any work we perform, and NAPA has their nationwide warranty. We also rebuild engines, when it’s the best choice. This is the case with a classic car that is in the shop right now, where the owner wants to rebuild his original engine. The crate engine replacement is one of a few options. We often obtain used engines with low mileage, if this is your preferred option.
