Sunshine is a breath of fresh air for me! I have been in Reno for about 10 years and found it difficult to find a mechanic or shop I could trust. My husband is unable to assist with auto-related issues so it’s all up to me. I have been lied to by mechanics who tried to get me to make repairs that I did not need or that would not have cured the problem I was having with my car. I purchased new tires recently and the tire dealer referred me to Sunshine for the alignment. I called them to inquire about the work I needed. They quoted me a fair price, told me to drop off my car before work, and they even gave me a ride to work after we did the paperwork! I waited for them to call me and tell me I needed more than just an alignment and that my car needed mechanical work before it could be aligned properly. That call never came! When the work was done, they picked me up from work and took me back to the shop and the price was exactly what they quoted me over the phone! They also did an inspection of the car and gave me a list of things that needed to be repaired or serviced in the near future. Since they are a full service shop, I will be going back to them for all service and repairs when I am ready to have those items taken care of. And ladies - They have gourmet coffee available and the waiting area is clean and comfortable which we all appreciate!

Went in expecting to have a full brake job done . After the inspection ,I was told brakes were still okay and I work was needed at this time. When brakes are needed, they will be done here. Very honest and pleasant to deal with.

I called to schedule a tire rotation. I was 10 minutes early to my scheduled appointment yet it took an hour to do a sub-five minute job. I like these people and want to be a customer but this motivates me to look elsewhere. After-hours calls do not give you the chance to leave a voicemail and there is no weekend service. They do good work but it is challenging to get in.
