Sunshine Service Brake & Alignment
Very professional - From the check-in to the check-out. They do a complete analysis, and provide a firm estimate of the involved costs. Therefore - five stars. We will return when needed to correct any new issues. AHEM... A minor modification to my previous post... (and if you read the following, please read to the end...) When I drove home, I noticed that the "tire noise" was still present, and a new issue had surfaced - a shimmy was now present at freeway speed (which had not been present before). When I called to tell them of the problems, I was told that it would be another week before they could address these issues - one of which was the very reason that I took it in in the first place! After spending approximately $1300 and them having the car for 2 days, I thought this was not satisfactory, and canceled the appointment. Regardless of the SEEMING professionalism on our first visit, this was definitely not a professional way to deal with ANY customer, especially after they had just spent that amount of money and the original issue remained. This modification to my review is due to having just driven the car to Tahoe and back, wondering if this noise and vibration were due to an issue which amounted to more than "normal road noise" which was what the Svc Rep told me when I called to tell them about the original issue ("noise") remaining. PLEASE SEE BELOW! FAIR IS FAIR... I have been contacted by Rick from Sunshine Service several times, and he is doing his best to resolve these issues, so I will eat a little crow, and modify my rating back (almost) to what it was... It is possible that there is blame to go around, and I may have over-reacted by the delay in addressing my concerns and for a comment on the problem which was CLEARLY inaccurate. I will assume that the noise problem and harmonic vibration issue will be corrected, and I revert to my initial comment that they are very professional - as evidenced by the pains to which Rick has gone to assure customer satisfaction. ANOTHER MODIFICATION... (The end - I promise!) Rick and the owner came to our house; took the car in to the shop; re-analyzed the problems; returned the car; and gave estimates of costs to repair. Although the manufacturer would probably deny, it appears that there are issues which should NOT have occurred in a car with only 30000 miles on it... brakes, struts, tires, etc., etc., SO, other than some initial communications problems, Sunshine cannot be faulted for these difficulties. They went FAR FURTHER than any other company would have to address my issues, and I very much appreciate their attempts.
